Automotive Insulations Invited to visit the House of Commons
Two senior members of Automotive Insulation’s staff (Managing Director Jim Griffin and Kevin Westwood) were invited to attend a meeting at the House of Commons recently. They were part of a group of manufacturers invited to meet with Business Minister, Mark Prisk. The event was to highlight the Get Britain Trading campaign which featured speeches from members of the forum, followed a speech from Mark Prisk the Business Minister.
The Minister was particularly interested in how Automotive Insulations has worked through a difficult time for manufacturers to emerge larger and more competitive. He felt that there were lessons there that could be learned by other SME’s across all sectors.
The event was well attended and both Automotive Insulation directors were able to talk directly to the Minister and highlight its success over the past 18 months.
Jim Griffin, Managing Director of Automotive Insulations said:
“We requested that more could be done to support SME’s trying to grow business in Europe. It was heartening to hear the Minister was in touch with the struggles of small businesses and I came away in the belief that we are being listened to.”
